This site is a tribute to Gordon Allison McKay who passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on 19th March 2024 aged 58.
Dearly loved husband of Amanda, father to Lewis, Jason, Laura Jane and Connor, grandad to Jessica, Daisy and Thomas, beloved son of Cathy and the late William, brother to Kenny and Alec, much loved by his many friends, extended family and those he served with in the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. He will be sorely missed.
A celebration of Gordon McKay's life
Funeral service will be held at Spittal Community centre, formerly St Pauls Chuch, Spittal on Tuesday 2nd April 2024 at 11am followed by interment at St Mary and St Michael churchyard, Doddington at approximately 1:15pm. Afterwards the family warmly invite you to join them at the Tankerville Arms in Wooler to share memories and raise a glass for Gordon. Family flowers only please.
Donations in lieu of flowers if desired for SSAFA can be made at the funeral service or via this page.
